DinkRating is a community-driven pickleball rating platform that allows players to track their matches, calculate skill ratings, and connect with other players. The Service is provided for recreational and informational purposes.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading match results
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
5. Content and Data
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as profile information and match results). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service. Match results and ratings are visible to other users of the platform.
6. Rating System
Ratings are calculated using algorithms based on match results submitted by users. Ratings are estimates of skill and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of ratings and they should not be used as official tournament seedings unless explicitly approved by tournament organizers.
7. Fraud Prevention
We employ automated systems to detect potentially fraudulent match submissions. Accounts found to be manipulating ratings may be suspended or terminated. We reserve the right to adjust or remove match results that appear to be fraudulent.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur during pickleball play.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DinkRating shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the Service or email.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
